Wycombe District Council seeks to authorise the building of 160 new homes in the Great & Little Kimble cum Marsh Parish area over the next 20 years. In February this year the Parish Council arranged a parish meeting where representatives of Wycombe Council explained the requirement for the new homes to our local community. As a local community, Kimble has the right have the right to develop its own Neighbourhood Development Plan in order to have some say as to how the community should develop. At the February meeting, which was very well attended, a vote was held as to whether the Parish Council should develop a local plan. The Vote was overwhelmingly in favour.
A Neighbourhood Development Plan Working Group has now been established, comprising some Parish Councillors and volunteers from the Community and the Parish Council is now seeking Wycombe Council’s authority to proceed. Should the application be successful the Working Group will move forward to produce the plan, consulting closely with the local community, Wycombe Council and other relevant bodies.
